Biography

Cora was born  in 1951, in The Hague, within a stone’s  throw from the Royal Academy of Visual Arts. It spoke for itself that after her secondary school she would follow a training here.

After the academy she drew and painted for a number of years at the Free Academy in The Hague and followed painting  lessons with Ab van Overdam.
From the beginning the making of portraits had her largest preference.
Immediately after her education she started with manufacturing portraits in commission.
Although she also makes other work, up till now portrait painting is her most important occupation.
